Corbett appears to be seeking PSU votes

I think most Pennsylvania citizens would agree that the inactions of Penn State administrators and legendary coach Joe Paterno were at least in part due to the fear that Penn State football would be placed at a competitive disadvantage and the university would be severely embarassed by exposure of Jerry Sandusky's criminal conduct and his links to the Nittany Lions and his status on campus.

Now Gov. Tom Corbett is suing the NCAA, largely due to the fact that its penalties will place Penn State football at a competitve disadvantage and are an embarrassment to the university.

And we are to believe this whole case had nothing to do with Penn State and its football culture? The only truth Mr. Corbett understands is that re-election will be difficult without Nittany Lion football fanatics.

What's next, Franco Harris as re-election campaign manager?
