We must know about CIA torture in our name

It is more than time that our country knew what is in the Senate Intelligence Committee’s 6,300-page report on the U.S. use of torture by the CIA.

What has come through clearly from Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s recent accusation of cover-ups, intimidation and smears by the CIA is that the CIA will do anything it can to hold up releasing this document. It is chilling to think that the CIA feels it can obstruct congressional oversight.

It is imperative that the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report be released and the American people get to see what torture the CIA did in our name.
