The PG Lineup
Robert Dvorchak, 49, joined the Post-Gazette in 1995 as a writer and editor and
authored a special section on the Pirates 1997 season. He formerly worked as a
national writer for The Associated Press, reporting on such stories as the Persian Gulf
War and the Oklahoma City bombing. A native of Uniontown, he has worked as a journalist
for 32 years and has won several local, state and national writing awards. He has had four
books published.
Daniel Marsula, 43, has been a staff artist for the Post-Gazette since 1990,
joining the paper after working 14 years at the Pittsburgh Press. Marsula has received
numerous local, state and national awards for his illustrations, he is a nationally
recognized watercolorist with paintings in national and international publications. A
native of Jeannette, he lives with his wife and four children in the South Hills.
