Overnight paving will cause traffic restrictions on Allegheny River Boulevard starting tonight, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

Alternating one-way traffic is possible starting at 8 p.m. weekdays between Washington Boulevard in Larimer and Sandy Creek Road in Penn Hills. Restrictions will lift by 6 a.m. daily. Some Saturday night work also is possible. Work will continue through late November and includes shoulder, drainage and guardrail improvements, the department said.
