Traffic on Route 51 in Jefferson Hills will be limited to a single lane in both directions starting today, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

A $5.8 million paving project will begin with lane closures between Coal Valley Road and Worthington Avenue starting at 10 a.m. and continuing through July 30. The overall project calls for paving from Coal Valley to the Elizabeth Bridge, with completion expected in December.
