PennDOT contractors are inspecting the Liberty Bridge today and tomorrow, meaning the right lane of the bridge will be closed in both directions through 3 p.m. both days.

Engineers will also be inspecting the 279 Portal Bridge, which will lead to lane closures on the lower deck of the southbound Fort Duquesne Bridge, from 6 a.m. to noon.

Today, there will be a right-lane closure on the Fort Duquesne Bridge near the ramp to I-376 west.  A single lane will remain open to motorists.

On Sunday, there will be a left-lane closure near the off-ramp to the 10th Street Bypass, and the off-ramp to the bypass will be closed. Traffic will be detoured, PennDOT says.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com.

Also this weekend, the Monongahela Incline will be closed for inspections.
