Pittsburgh-area gasoline prices the same over the past week

Average retail gasoline prices in the Pittsburgh area remain unchanged over the past week, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

Local gas prices were averaging $3.65 a gallon yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 731 gas outlets in the Pittsburgh area. This compares with the national average that has increased 1.3 cents per gallon in the past week to $3.55 a gallon.

Gas prices in the Pittsburgh area yesterday were 5.6 cents per gallon lower than the same day a year ago and are unchanged versus a month ago.

The national average has increased 7.4 cents per gallon during the past month and stands 3.1 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
