A problem with the traffic signals this morning has caused delays at the inbound Squirrel Hill Tunnel.

The tunnel was closed for a time around 10 a.m. and again around 10:15 as the control signals went red. PennDOT spokesman Steve Cowan said an electrician was on site trying to fix the signals.

Inbound traffic was backed beyond the Churchill exit.
