Banksville Avenue has reopened after being closed since Oct. 17 for landslide repair work.

The avenue, which runs parallel to Banksville Road, had been closed from McMonagle Avenue to Potomac Avenue.

Pittsburgh public works crews have removed debris and built a wall in an effort to prevent future problems. The city expects to do additional work to repair the surface of the street in the spring.
