Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.
CapCon 241’s deathly waiter and wine bottle (click on second image above) brought numerous references to “a drink to die for” from caption writers — too many, in fact, to pick one over the others. The judges voted instead for a different play on words relating to late-night drinks, giving our winner his second contest title this year. Now the race is on for all caption competitors to come up with something equally clever for CapCon 242.
Send up to three entries to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: Aug. 11. Winners receive a PG umbrella, which is still worth more than it costs to park all day in city parking garages — or at least some of them.
