Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

CapCon 239's postal delivery (click on second image to see) to the mountaintop wise man resulted in many wisely wry captions, the best of them delivered to us by a snail mail carrier. It resulted in a first-time contest champion, which is always a blessed event. Trying to win such a competitive contest is no day at the beach, but put on your giant thinking cap for CapCon 240 and try to produce some wonderfully clever ideas as well.

Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: July 14. Winners receive a PG umbrella, but you must promise not to leave it behind as trash after a Heinz Field concert.
