Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

CapCon 230's snowman broken into pieces (click on second image to view) inspired a blizzard of macabre submissions among our 200 entries, and the judges best liked the TV pop culture reference from a first-time winner. Now we hope everyone will ante up to take part in CapCon 231, which is well worth the gamble considering what's at stake -- the admiration of thousands of people who only wish they could be so clever.

Send up to three entries to or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: March 10. Winners receive a PG umbrella and our best wishes for avoiding potholes.
