Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

CapCon 226's Christmas-themed barrel of monkeys (click on second image above to see cartoon) brought the contest one of our always-valued first-time champions, whose fun-poking entry barely won out over one using a twist on some serious news headlines. Now's a chance for more newcomers and veterans alike to get carried away with clever commenting on CapCon 227's light and airy illustration.

Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: Jan. 13. Winners receive a PG umbrella, a collector's item as the first one ever given away in the Peduto era.
