Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

CapCon 224's robotic passion for donuts (click on second image above to see cartoon) drew a number of "Robocop" references, and the best came from a first-time contest winner. Our second-place finisher was also a newcomer, showing how wide-open the competition can be among a couple hundred submissions in each contest. That should be encouragement to everyone to stick their nose into CapCon 225 and see how cleverly they can describe the illustration.

Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or Pittsburgh city neighborhood. Deadline: Dec. 16. Winners receive a PG umbrella, the best holiday gift since the Red Ryder carbine action 200-shot range model air rifle.
