Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

CapCon 188's large number of entries -- more than 230 -- provided plenty that were of high quality, including many good "assault" references to the prone shaker. Click on second image above to see. In the end, however, the judges best liked one of multiple entries paying tribute to a Jimmy Buffett partying song, which resulted in crowning a first-time caption champion. We trust you'll enjoy analyzing the illustration for CapCon 189 and will respond just as enthusiastically.

Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or city neighborhood. Deadline: July 30. Winners receive a PG umbrella, which unfortunately got left on the cutting-room floor in the new Batman movie.
