Stacy Innerst is the artist. You are the caption writer.

CapCon 172's square peg-square hole image brought another caption championship to Monroeville's ever-clever Eric Ash, who has placed first at least five times. So he now has the proverbial "umbrella for the thumb," or however the expression goes. Everyone else has some catching up to do, so use whatever cards you have up your sleeve to take your best shot at CapCon 173.

Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or city neighborhood. Deadline: Dec. 19. Winners receive a PG umbrella, though if it's Eric Ash again, hey, we're all out of your size.
