Allegheny County officials are moving two polling places out of a disputed Mount Washington housing complex and into two new sites.

Letters were being issued to Pittsburgh voters who had been scheduled to vote at the Just-Inn Transition apartments on Lelia Street that they will cast ballots Nov. 5 in other locations. Those in the 19th Ward’s 11th District will go to St. Justin Plaza, 120 Boggs Ave., and those in the 19th Ward’s 14th District will be moved to St. Pamphilus Church, 100 Tropical Ave.

Nearby residents have complained about increased crime near the public housing complex, which houses seniors and those with mental and physical disabilities.
