The sister of a Jeannette man whose death is blamed on the Legionella outbreak at the Veterans Administration Pittsburgh Healthcare System sued the federal government today, in the latest in a series of lawsuits related to the disease detected at the facility in 2011.

Lloyd Mitchell Wanstreet was 65 when he died on July 4, 2012, according to the lawsuit. He had been honorably discharged from the Navy, and in May and June 2012 was admitted to the VA Hospital for treatment of an infected leg wound.

The lawsuit filed by attorney Douglas Price claims wrongful death, and demands damages and fees.
