Seminars/lectures

■ UPMC East, Monroeville, is sponsoring "When Should You Go to an Urgent Care Center?" from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday inside the Food Court on the lower level of Monroeville Mall, 200 Mall Circle Drive, as part of its Monroeville Mall-Walker Program; and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Conference Center on the hospital's ground level as an Alive and Well Presentation. -- Healthy Eating Supermarket Tour, 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Healthy Directions health resource center, Finleyville Giant Eagle, 3701 Brownsville Road, Union. Classes/workshops

■ Excela Health is sponsoring "Breastfeeding Success" from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Memorial Conference Center, on the ground floor of Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Call 1-877-771-1234.

■ Allegheny Valley Hospital is sponsoring the following classes at its Destination Wellness health resource center, the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, 590 Pittsburgh Mills Circle, Frazer. Required manual included in cost. Call 724-274-5202.

-- Heartsaver first aid with CPR/AED, two-part course, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Cost: $35 per person for each part; $50 for both parts.

-- Basic life support for health care providers, including CPR renewal, 5 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. Cost: $35 per person.

Support groups

■ Self Help Group Network, a service of PA 2-1-1 Southwest, provides a database of support groups. Call 412-255-1155.

■ The McKeesport Area affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness is meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 122 of the Frable Building on the Penn State Greater Allegheny Campus, 4000 University Drive, White Oak. Fitness classes/clinics

■ Allegheny General Hospital is offering the following classes in t'ai chi for health. The cost is $85. Call 412-330-4469.

-- Continuing practice, 11 a.m. to noon Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, Peters.

■ Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2040 Washington Road, Upper St. Clair, is hosting Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program classes from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and t'ai chi classes from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Tuesdays through June 17. The cost is $35 each. Call 412-835-6630.
