North Hills accepts tablet donation

The North Hills school board Wednesday accepted the donation of 20 Kindle Fire tablets from the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.

The Foundation’s program, Tablets in Education, is providing 1,200 Kindle Fire HDX tablets to 60 schools through a partnership with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit.

North Hills will receive 20 tablets, and they will be used in the library at McIntyre Elementary School.
