Pittsburgh police on Thursday have arrested a second man in connection with a shooting in Sheraden.
Charles Ellis, 22, of Sheraden, came to the Zone 6 police station in the West End Thursday afternoon and was arrested, bureau spokeswoman Diane Richard said in a news release.
Ellis, who is currently on parole, has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, conspiracy, recklessly endangering another person and a firearms violations.
His brother, Lenell Ptomey, 30, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting near the intersection of Ashlyn and Bergman streets Tuesday night.
Pittsburgh police wrote in a criminal complaint that he and another man -- who turned out to be his brother -- conspired to shoot Thomas Romesburg, 27, about 11 times.
