North Fayette -- The Western Allegheny Community Library, 8042 Steubenville Pike, will present "Homework Help for Parents" at 7 p.m. next Thursday in the Community Room. Each participant will receive the pamphlet, "Homework: A Parent's Survival Guide." Information: 724-695-8150.


North Fayette -- Montours Presbyterian Church, 3151 Montour Church Road, will hold a flea market from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. Information: 412-787-1050.


McDonald -- Heritage Public Library, 52 Fourth St., will hold a used-book sale, "Bag A Bunch Of Books," from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A bag of books will cost $5. Information: 724-926-8400.

Moon -- Moon Township Public Library, 1700 Beaver Grade Road, Suite 100, will hold "Weekly Watch: Call the Midwife," a discussion of the British Broadcasting Corp.'s TV show, at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday during September and October, beginning Wednesday. Hopewell -- Beaver Valley Christian Women's Club will hold its monthly luncheon with a theme of "Bring Out the Best" from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Fez, 2312 Brodhead Road. Rose Marie Faulkner will speak on "Tiaras, Trophies and Tantrums." Cost: $10. Deadline for reservations and child care: next Thursday. Information: 724-375-5757.
