A resurfacing project on 1.8 miles of the Parkway West in Robinson will begin tonight, bringing overnight and early-morning lane closures, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

The $945,000 project also calls for guide rail improvements, pavement marking and line painting between Route 22-30-60 (Exit 60) and Campbells Run Road (Exit 62).

Lane closures are possible in both directions starting at 10 p.m. today and Thursday, with restrictions ending by 5 a.m. the following mornings, and from 9 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday.

Resurfacing is scheduled to begin Aug. 15 and will be done at night and on weekends through mid-October. Details of traffic restrictions will be announced later, PennDOT said.
