Antique car show at Old Economy
Pre-1950 convertibles, coupes, model As, a Willys MB, a Nash Ambassador, Buicks, Chevys, pick-ups, a Packard 110, Model T and a flathead truck will be on display from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Old Economy Village, ChurchStreet.
There will be free admission and games and crafts for children, food for sale, and the historic buildings will be open to tour. The Pittsburgh Banjo Club will perform at 1 p.m. in the historic garden.
Brittany Ann featured in concert
Singer and songwriter Brittany Ann of Eastern Pennsylvania, a recent graduate of Temple University, will present a free folk music concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Clinton Park Amphitheater in Clinton Park, Route 30.
The show is part of Findlay's summer concert series. The rain date is next Wednesday.
Geneva group begins summer tour
New Song, Geneva College's traveling music and drama ministry, begins its six-week summer tour with a concert at 1:45 p.m. Friday in the Reformed Presbyterian Home, 2344 Perrysville Ave., North Side.
The group will perform at 26 locations in nine states.
New Song, now in its 37th year, consists of students who spread the Gospel through music and drama.

BRODHEAD CULTURAL CENTER
Free concert features symphonic band
The Metropolitan Italian Symphonic Band will feature pop, swing, jazz, opera overtures, marches and polkas in a free concert as part of the Brodhead Cultural Center's 37th summer season of programs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the J.P. Giusti Amphitheater on the Penn State Beaver campus, Brodhead Road, Center.
In the event of inclement weather, the show will be moved into the auditorium of the Beaver campus Student Union Building.

Food, activities, holiday fireworks
Midland -- A carnival will feature food booths, crafts, games and live entertainment from 4 to 10 p.m. today in Lincoln Park, Midland Avenue. A car cruise will begin at 6. A parade will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday on Midland Avenue with the carnival open all day. A fireworks show begins at 10 p.m. Thursday. Information: 724-624-4238.
Moon -- The Independence Day celebration will be 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday in Moon Park. Children's activities start at 4 and entertainment at 7 featuring Arena's Performing Arts Centre, the Stony River Boys and Sarah Marince. The day will culminate with Zambelli Fireworks Internationale at 10:15.
In honor of the township's 225th anniversary and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board's 50th Anniversary, the parks and recreation department will recognize past members of the parks advisory board and the 1963 supervisors board.
