A federal fugitive task force arrested two brothers wanted for assault and burglary in Arkansas after they received a tip that the men were hiding in a Beaver Falls motel today.

Paris Scott, 18, and Ronnie Scott, 20, who were born in Chicago and recently lived in Searcy, Ark., were being held in the Beaver County Jail tonight in lieu of $100,000 bail, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Michael Baughman said in a news release.

The two were wanted by the White County Sheriff's Office in Arkansas on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated residential burglary and escape after investigators said they entered a home at gunpoint this April and stole a firearm.

Members of the U.S. Marshal's Western Pennsylvania Task Force, acting on a tip from their counterparts in Arkansas, arrested the men shortly before 1 p.m. today. Deputy U.S. Marshal Baughman said Paris Scott tried to escape out of hotel window and was arrested shortly afterward. mobilehome - breaking - neigh_west
