Police in Beaver County have ended their search for a missing Geneva College student but are continuing to conduct interviews of friends and family today.
Devon Minor, 19, of Clifton Heights, near Philadelphia, was last seen on the Beaver Falls campus on Thursday. His family reported him missing on Saturday, and yesterday about 30 firefighters, police officers, state troopers and an FBI agent searched for him on and around the campus and along the banks of the Beaver River.
Charles Jones, chief of police in Beaver Falls, said there is no evidence that Mr. Minor was the victim of foul play but wouldn't say if police have a theory about what happened to him.
Mr. Minor, an engineering student described as a quiet loner, was last seen Thursday evening in the school's dining hall. Police found his cell phone and his winter coat in his dorm room.
