A mother and her 7-year-old daughter were killed this morning, following a head-on collision in Fayette County.
Pennsylvania State Police in the Uniontown barracks said the crash involving a car and three-axle truck happened about 8 a.m. on Englishman Hill Road, a half-mile from Pleasant Valley Road in Bullskin.
Angela Thomas, 26, of Connellsville was pronounced dead at 9:27 a.m. the scene of the crash, the Fayette County coroner's office said. An autopsy will be performed Thursday, though the cause of the wreck will not be determined until toxicology tests are completed.
Her daughter, Myah Worley, 7, also of Connellsville, was transported to Children's Hospital, where she later died, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office. An autopsy will not be performed.
Two other children in the car were transported to the hospital, state police trooper Stefani Plume said. Their conditions were immediately unavailable.
