South Fayette School District plans to update its population study to help determine the need to expand space at the high school.
Demographer Shelby Stewman completed a demographic study in 2011 that predicted high school enrollment would rise by 390 students over 10 years.
Superintendent Bille Rondinelli said tonight that Mr. Stewman will provide a cost estimate for updating the numbers, a task he could complete by around January.
"Before we would make any decisions about the high school, we would have to have an updated demographic study done," she said.
