Police said a Munhall woman stole her stepfather's identity after her mother died and stole up to $220,000 from the man over a four-year period.
Online court records don't list an attorney for 33-year-old Quinn Horvwalt, who Munhall police say began opening credit card accounts in her stepfather's name in 2008.
The man's sister alerted police when his dead wife's life insurance pay out couldn't be accounted for and he couldn't pay his Allegheny County property taxes because his bank account balance was so low.
The man's sister -- and eventually police -- went through the man's finances and discovered the credit cards opened in his name without his knowledge.
One bank credit card account had been opened online, which increased his sister's suspicions because the man didn't own a computer.
