A McKeesport homicide suspect was arrested this morning after U.S. marshals found him hiding above furnace duct work inside a Wilkinsburg home.

Mark Leonard, 32, originally from the Hill District, faces a homicide charge and a firearms violation in connection with the Jan. 11 shooting death of Jayemond Bailey, 34, inside the Streets Star Bar on Sixth Avenue in McKeesport.

About 20 people were inside the bar, according to a press release from the U.S. Marshals Service.

Police obtained a warrant to arrest Mr. Leonard five days after the shooting and have been searching for him since.

U.S. marshals, assisted by the Wilkinsburg police department, found Mr. Leonard inside a home in the 1200 block of Morrow Street shortly after 9:30 a.m.
