Jefferson Hills -- Allegheny County Penn State Master Gardeners programs will be held in the community room of Jefferson Hills Municipal Center, 925 Old Clairton Road. Nottingham -- The Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a needle and yarn craft workshop at 10 a.m. March 13 at the Mingo Creek Park Office in Mingo Creek County Park in Eighty Four, off Route 136, 13 miles east of Washington. McKeesport -- St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 220 Eighth St., will host a fish fry from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each Friday during Lent.

Carnegie -- The Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 32 will hold its fish fry, including baked cod and baked potatoes, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and March 15 and 22 at the Ukrainian-American Citizens Clubs, 302 Mansfield Blvd.


Jefferson Hills -- A Zumba fitness class will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through next Tuesday at Jefferson Hills Public Library, 925 Old Clairton Road. Cost: $5 per class.


Bridgeville -- The 15th annual Curves food drive will continue through March 23 to benefit the Bridgeville Area Food Bank. Donations, including cereal, tuna, peanut butter and rice, as well as monetary donations, will be accepted and can be dropped off at 3249 Washington Pike from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Dormont -- Friends of Dormont Pool will have its seventh annual St. Patrick's Day party from 8 p.m. to midnight March 16 at the recreation center above the pool, 1444 Hillsdale Ave. Tickets are $20 per person or $35 per couple. Mt. Lebanon -- An all-you-can-eat pancake festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Beth El Congregation of the South Hills, 1900 Cochran Road. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children 4 and younger.

Whitehall -- The Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God will hold one of their regular soup takeout fundraisers Wednesday, offering a quart of homemade wedding soup, ham and bean soup or New England clam chowder for $5 with two dinner rolls. Bethel Park -- The South Hills Coin Club will meet at 8 p.m. Monday at Bethel Park Presbyterian Church, 2999 Bethel Church Road. All members and the general public are invited.

Whitehall -- The Whitehall Garden Club will meet at 7:30 tonight in the Whitehall Borough Building, 100 Borough Park Drive, to watch a demonstration on making a living wreath. All are welcome.


Bethel Park -- The "One Voice" Christian Vocal Ensemble, directed by David F. Pressau, will present the 21st season Lent concert at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2999 Bethel Church Road, at 7 p.m. March 24. The concert is free, and the public is welcome.


Jefferson Hills -- The Friends of Jefferson Hills Public Library is requesting donations of used books, as well as boutique items such as scarves, belts, jewelry and photo frames, for its annual sale from April 11 to 15. Items may be dropped off at the public library, 925 Old Clairton Road, during regular business hours.
