McKeesport man sentenced for role in Mon Valley-based drug ring

A McKeesport man was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years and 10 months in prison for his role in a Mon Valley-based cocaine distribution ring.

Joseph D. Mack, 30, had pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute as much as 500 grams of cocaine and 56 grams of crack. He was among 42 people charged after the FBI-led takedown of the loose-knit organization in 2010. He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Donetta W. Ambrose.
