Pennsylvania State Police in Butler today released the name of the man killed after crashing while speeding away Wednesday from an attempted traffic stop.
Adam J. Williams, 20, of Karns City, drove away after a trooper tried to pull him over about 1:20 p.m. along Muddy Creek Drive south of Staff Road in Brady, Trooper Dan Kesten said.
Mr. Williams' vehicle crashed a short time later.
Two children also were in the car: a 1-year-old, who was not injured, and a 2-year-old, who suffered a minor injury, state police said.
