State Police are looking for a man in his mid-40s who evaded multiple police officers Friday night on a miles-long chase from a DUI checkpoint.
Confronted with the checkpoint at State Route 8062 off exit 13 of Route 28 in East Deer, the man backed up the shoulder of the road and fled from police.
Police said he traveled through Tarentum, Arnold and New Kensington "committing multiple traffic violations and striking parked vehicles."
After police forced his vehicle off the road, he fled on foot into a wooded area.
He is described as a black man, 6 feet tall and 240 pounds, and is being sought for multiple hit-and-run accidents.
