The North Allegheny School Board accepted the resignation of two administrators Wednesday.
Brian Miller, assistant superintendent for K-12 education, is becoming the superintendent of the Pine-Richland School District on July 1. He started with North Allegheny as a health and physical education teacher in 1996.
"I toyed with idea of voting against his resignation as an indication of how much the district values him," said board President Maureen Grosheider. "He has done exemplary work in whatever he has done. He very much deserves the superintendency."
Also, Rachel Fischbaugh, assistant principal of Carson Middle School, is leaving to become principal of Hartwood Elementary School in the Fox Chapel Area School District.
"She was a wonderful administrator, and served the district well," said board member Linda Bishop.
