Traffic in both directions on Interstate 79 in Franklin Park was expected to be impacted this morning by road work.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said traffic would be stopped intermittently from about 7:30 a.m. to about 8:30 a.m. Motorists were advised to expected stoppages that last up to 15 minutes.
The impact area is just south of the Route 910/Wexford Bayne Road (Exit 73) interchange. Crews under contract with Consolidated Communications were to be working on cable-related issues until about 11 a.m.
