A 19-year-old Butler County woman was killed this morning when she lost control of her vehicle on slushy and ice-covered roads.
Paige N. Organ of Prospect was pronounced dead at the scene by the Butler County Coroner, according to a press release from state police.
Organ was driving a Nissan Versa southbound on Oneida Valley Road south of Pine Tract Road in Butler County at about 11:12 a.m., state police said.
As she navigated a right hand curve on the slushy and ice-covered road, she lost control of the sedan, traveled into the northbound lane and hit the trailer of a Peterbilt tractor truck, state police said. She was not wearing a seat belt, state police said.
The driver of the truck was not injured, state police said.
