The New Jersey landscaper who pleaded no contest in the deaths of his father and stepmother, whose charred remains were found scattered on their Butler County property, has a hearing to withdraw his plea.
Colin William Abbott, 42, of Randolph, N.J., will appear before Judge William Shaffer on March 28, according to court documents.
After Abbott pleaded no contest to two counts of third-degree murder Feb. 26, he was sentenced to 35 to 80 years in jail the following day.
Abbott's attorney, Wendy Williams, did not respond for comment tonight.
