A Butler woman died when she pulled out in front of a truck this morning, prompting a three-car crash, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Marcella "Betty" Fallecker, 89, stopped at a stop sign on Woodhawk Lane, then pulled out in front of a Grove City bucket truck heading west on Route 422 shortly before 10 a.m., state police wrote in a press release.
The truck collided with the driver's side of Ms. Fallecker's 2007 Buick Lacrosse, rolled over an embankment and fell onto its side.
Ms. Fallecker's car spun and tapped a dump truck behind the bucket truck.
Ms. Fallecker died at the scene and the bucket truck driver, Chase Badger, 28, of Grove City, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The dump truck driver, Timothy Ragan, 34, of Butler, was not injured.
