NBC's "America's Got Talent" ended its season last week, but Pine-Richland fifth-grader Jackie Evancho is still on television.

Jackie, 10, is scheduled to be a guest today on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno." Other guests include actor Jimmy Smits and musician Brian Wilson.

Alisha Cowan, press coordinator for NBC Universal entertainment publicity, said that a group of "kid inventors" were on Mr. Leno's show early last spring, but that Jackie is the youngest "Tonight Show" guest "in recent memory."

The Pittsburgh girl was runner-up to soulful singer Michael Grimm in the "America's Got Talent" finale. She and show's other top 10 performers are scheduled to join a multi-city tour that begins Oct. 1. The tour is not scheduled to stop here; the closest venues are Columbus, Ohio, on Oct. 23 and Washington, D.C., on Nov. 4.

The day after the "America's Got Talent" finale broadcast, the women of "The View" were talking about her performances. One of the hosts, Whoopi Goldberg, said they wanted Jackie to visit, and that's something ABC producers are working on, according to the show's publicist, Karl T. Nilsson.
