A restraining order filed against the principal of Linton Middle School in Penn Hills earlier this month has been vacated, according to court records.
The temporary protection from abuse order Lisa Barnett sought against her husband Davaun Barnett Sr., 41, was dismissed at a May 15 hearing, Mr. Barnett's attorney Francis D. Wymard said this week.
In a May 16 letter to the Penn Hills School District superintendent, Mr. Wymard wrote that his client "continues to strictly deny all allegations contained within the petition."
No charges have been filed.
Mr. Barnett, 41, has taken a leave of absence for the rest of the academic school year, district superintendent Thomas Washington wrote in a May 14 letter to parents obtained by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
District spokeswoman Teresita K. Kolenchak has said that the district would not comment further as the matter is under investigation.
