Two rescued from house fire in Penn Hills

A fire that damaged a house in Penn Hills this morning is now under control.

No one was injured, but two people were rescued from the roof of the home on Orin Street. The house was destroyed in the blaze, KDKA-TV reported.

The fire was reported shortly before 5:20 a.m. About 7 a.m., Allegheny County fire marshals were still at the scene to put out remaining hot spots, the station reported.
