The U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force arrested a man today accused in the March shooting death of 21-year-old Mark Rucker Jr., Allegheny County police said.
Jamey McKee, 24, of Penn Hills was arrested about 1 p.m. in Sheraden and is charged with homicide in the Monroeville shooting, according to a county police press release. Police in early April charged Mr. McKee and had asked the public's help in finding him.
Rucker was found shot to death March 30 in a building stairwell in the Cambridge Square housing complex.
That morning, the two men argued outside about Rucker's relationship with Mr. McKee's girlfriend, police said. During the argument, Mr. McKee pulled out a revolver and followed Rucker into the Cambridge Square building, where shots were fired, according to court documents.
During Rucker's autopsy, two bullets suitable for ballistics examination were recovered, police said.
