Two shot in Penn Hills

Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating a shooting in Penn Hills that left two people wounded Friday night, a dispatch supervisor said.

The two victims showed up at UPMC Shadyside at 10:10 p.m. and were then taken to UPMC Presbyterian. Authorities traced the shooting back to the 8600 block of Westwood Road in Penn Hills.

Allegheny County police could not be reached for immediate comment.
