A man used a stun gun to carjack a 61-year-old teacher near the Wilkinsburg elementary school where she works, officials said.
The victim, Lois Clark, said the man targeted her head with the stun gun but that she "fought him off. I kicked, and kicked and kicked."
The man drove away in her 2004 green Honda Odyssey minivan, which she had just parked at Kelly Elementary School about 7:45 a.m. Monday.
Ms. Clark has worked in the district for 20 years, according to Wilkinsburg School District Superintendent Archie Perrin Jr. Mr. Perrin says the incident happened on the street, off school property.
Ms. Clark wasn't hurt but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
