Sean Kerrigan, charged last year with structuring currency transactions to avoid reporting requirements, pleaded guilty Wednesday.

Mr. Kerrigan, owner of Trafford real estate firm Sean's Real Estate Service, worked with Frank S. Guzik, of East Haven Investment Group, who is now a fugitive facing mortgage fraud charges.

Mr. Kerrigan was accused of making bank withdrawals from $7,100 to $9,500 in relation to business dealings with Mr. Guzik, in an effort to keep transactions below the $10,000 threshold at which the bank would report to the IRS.

Mr. Kerrigan will be sentenced June 29 by U.S. District Judge Nora Barry Fischer.
