Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting in the Hill District tonight that left two people wounded, one critically.
Police said a fight broke out during a memorial for a teenager who had been fatally shot at that same location a year ago this week. A group had gathered to remember the victim on the steps of the Ammon Recreation Center on Bedford Avenue when the altercation took place some time after 8:30 p.m.
Police said someone took the two wounded men to the hospital. One of the victims was in critical but stable condition, authorities said.
Seventeen-year-old Harold Young was shot to death during the early morning hours of Aug. 25, 2012, in the 2200 block of Bedford Avenue. One other person was shot multiple times but survived his injuries.
