Pittsburgh City Council passed legislation requiring many city-owned buildings to have baby-changing tables in men's and women's bathrooms.
The legislation, sponsored by Councilwoman Natalia Rudiak, was approved unanimously.
It bill excludes buildings that aren't regularly used by the public, like police stations. It aims to make it easier for parents of young children to visit recreation and senior centers, which are often the base for community events.
