Pittsburgh police arrested a Braddock man they say lured a man from his Allentown home Monday to shoot him.
Jarome Coker, 20, of Braddock is accused of breaking the window of the shooting victim's car to lure him from his home on the 300 block of Knox Avenue so Coker and another unknown man could shoot him, Pittsburgh officer Jeffery Abraham wrote in a criminal complaint.
The man was shot several times in the arm and chest at close range and was transported to UMPC Mercy in serious condition, the officer wrote.
A pistol was discovered behind the home where the shooting took place, Officer Abraham wrote.
Coker was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, conspiracy and criminal mischief, as well as firearms violations.
