A North Side man -- who police arrested last month for operating a marijuana grow lab in an apartment above two Perry South day care centers -- was arrested Tuesday on additional drug charges.
Narcotics detectives arrested Darron Nolen, 24, on Tuesday and seized marijuana and packaging material at a residence on the 2800-block of Perrysville Avenue, police spokeswoman Diane Richard said in a press release.
Mr. Nolen was charged with possession of controlled substance; possession with intent to deliver controlled substance; and paraphernalia use or possession.
On March 13, police searched an apartment above A Child Shall Lead day care and Mamas Little Angels Learning Center on the 2800 block of Perrysville Avenue, Ms. Richard said.
At that time, they recovered three large marijuana plants, three small marijuana plants, two bags of marijuana, six bags of marijuana seeds and narcotics packaging paraphernalia, she said.
Mr. Nolen was charged with possession of controlled substance, marijuana; possession with intent to deliver controlled substance, marijuana; possession of controlled substance, vicodin; and possession of paraphernalia.
